To send out a money request, press the Request Money button on the Veem dashboard. You can also start a request from your Contacts List.
Type in the name or email address of who you would like to invoice. As you type, businesses you have worked with before will display in the drop down for you to select.
If you have not previously transacted with the other business, type in a complete email address and some additional information including contact name, business name, country and phone number.
Fill in the currency and amount you are requesting. If you are requesting a currency that is different from the currency of your bank account where the payment will be received, Veem will show the expected amount in your local currency. This amount and exchange rate is guaranteed for 24 hours. If the request is paid after that 24 hours a new rate and amount is used. Be assured that both you and the payer will always be getting the best rate possible.
You may add more information to the request including an Invoice ID, message or note to the customer and an invoice attachment.
Specifying a due date can be helpful to inform your customer when the payment is due and create some urgency.
You can also add email addresses of people you would like to copy on all updates to the payment request such as when the invoice payment is initiated and processed.
You will have a chance to review all of the Payment Request details and can edit information if necessary.
If you are satisfied with the request details click Send. Veem will send an email to the payer with instructions to pay the invoice.
If the payer is a Veem customer logged into their dashboard they will also see the request at the top of their Outgoing list.
Pressing Finish will take you to your Veem Dashboard.
