Payment Status

Veem has different payment statuses that can help clients easily see and track which stage their payments are in.

This article will go through the different payment statuses on the Transactions page and what they mean. To learn how to view the payment tracker, click here.

Payment Status	What It Means	Cancellation Option
Drafted	The payment has been created but has not yet begun processing. To learn how to submit a drafted payment click here.	Yes, can be cancelled by the payer only.
Pending Approval	The payment is awaiting approval from the payer's side. To learn how to approve payments, click here.	Yes, can be cancelled by the payer only.
Submitted	Payment submitted: The payment has been submitted for processing. No funds have been collected or moved by Veem at this stage. Pending verification: The payment is in review and no funds are collected. The initial transaction is pending review. Pending payee's information Awaiting Push funds to be received Pending acceptance by the payee: payee did not accept the payment yet.	Yes, can be cancelled by the payer only.
In Progress	The payment has cleared verification and started processing. The transfer (debit) process is initiated or completed. Veem has begun to draw funds from the sender. The transfer (credit) process is initiated. Veem has begun to process funds to the receiver. If the status shows additional information is required, please refer to this troubleshooting article here for further guidance.	The payment can no longer be canceled once the transfer to the receiver is initiated. Please reach out to client services for additional information.
Deposited	Payment is complete and deposited to the payee's preferred receiving method. If the funds are not deposited, please consult this troubleshooting article for further assistance.	The payment can no longer be cancelled. Please reach out to client services for additional information.
Cancelled	Payment has been cancelled by the payer Payment has been cancelled by the payee Payment has been cancelled by Veem	Payment is now closed.
