Product updates - September 2nd, 2026
Veem’s latest updates expand card functionality, simplify applications, and broaden global payment coverage, including 11 new destinations and HKD wires to Hong Kong. Partners and developers also gain same-day ACH debit on Claim Invoice, improved payment-status webhooks, good-funds defaults, and enhanced quotes for smaller amounts.
New: The Veem Card is here!!. Our virtual card (previously "Virtual Card," now the Veem Card) is now available to all eligible customers. You'll see it throughout the app under its new name.
New: Add funds to your Veem Card from your Virtual Bank Account. You can now top up your Veem Card directly from any currency in your Virtual Bank Account. Moving US-dollar funds from a USD account to a USD card carries no cross-border fee; only currency-conversion fees apply when the currencies differ.
New: Higher card spending limit. The default monthly spending limit on new Veem Cards has been raised to $25,000.
Enhancment: A faster, simpler card application. Individual applicants (including sole proprietors) no longer need to upload ID documents — the identity ("liveness") check now covers this, so there's less paperwork to get a card. If you step away mid-application, you can pick up right where you left off instead of starting over.
New: A clearer card view. For eligible cards, the card details screen now separates your card information and your USDC receiving address into their own tabs, making each easier to find.
New: 11 new destination countries. You can now send payments to Andorra, Angola, Bolivia, Botswana, Burundi, Cape Verde, Guyana, Moldova, Montenegro, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, San Marino, and Vatican City.
New: Send Hong Kong dollars by wire. HKD payments to Hong Kong are now supported via wire.
Enhancment: Virtual Bank Account reminders. If you start a Virtual Bank Account application and don't finish, you'll now receive a reminder email so you can come back and complete it. You'll also see a banner in the app pointing you back to any application you've left incomplete.
## Now available for partners and developers:
New: Same-day ACH debit on Claim Invoice. The Claim Invoice API now accepts an optional sameDayAchDebitRequested parameter, so eligible US bank payments can be processed as same-day ACH debit (subject to cut-off times).
Enhancment: Good-funds default for scheduled-release partners (action may be required — see the note at the top). Partners with a payment-release schedule now default to good-funds payments; pass goodFundsPayment = false to override on a given payment.
Enhancement: Payment status webhooks for partner-referred accounts. Payment status webhooks are now delivered for every payment created via the API, including on partner-referred accounts. No changes to your webhook registration are needed.
Enhancment: Enhanced quote for smaller amounts. The enhanced quote API now works for payment accounts below the previous minimum.
