Veem USDC/USDT Wallets FAQ

Veem’s Crypto Wallet lets eligible customers receive, hold, and send supported stablecoins through their Veem account. It provides a unique wallet address for receiving funds and can be used for stablecoin-based payments and collections.

What is a Crypto Wallet?

A Crypto Wallet is a digital wallet in your Veem account for supported stablecoins. You can use it to receive stablecoin payments, hold your balance, and make payments to suppliers or other recipients.

Which stablecoins are supported?

Veem currently supports:

  • USDC
  • USDT

Availability may vary based on your account and location.

Who can open a Crypto Wallet?

Crypto Wallets are available to eligible Veem customers. Before a wallet can be opened, Veem may need to verify your identity or business and review required documents.

Depending on your account type, this may include:

  • Government-issued photo ID
  • Proof of address
  • Business registration documents
  • Business ownership information

Additional reviews may be required before your wallet is approved.

How do I receive stablecoins?

Once your Crypto Wallet is active, you’ll receive a unique wallet address for each supported stablecoin and network.

Share the correct wallet address and network with the sender. They can then send supported stablecoins directly to your Veem Crypto Wallet.

Important: Always confirm that the sender is using the exact stablecoin and network shown in your Veem account. Sending funds on an unsupported network or sending an unsupported asset may result in a delayed or unsuccessful transfer.

Can I hold more than one stablecoin?

Yes. If eligible, you may be able to add support for more than one stablecoin to your Crypto Wallet, such as USDC and USDT.

Can I send payments from my Crypto Wallet?

Yes. You can send payments to another Veem account as long as the recipient has the matching crypto wallet set as their default receiving method. You can’t send payments to an external stablecoin wallet. Before sending a payment, make sure you have enough available funds in the correct stablecoin balance.

Can I receive payments from anyone with a crypto wallet?

You can receive supported stablecoins sent on the supported network shown with your wallet address. Before someone sends funds, share your Veem wallet address exactly as displayed and ask them to confirm the stablecoin and network.

How long do stablecoin transfers take?

Blockchain transfers can be completed quickly, but the time for funds to appear in your Veem account may vary based on network activity and any required reviews. You can check your wallet balance and transaction history in your Veem account.

Can I convert stablecoins to traditional currency?

Where available, Veem can help convert supported stablecoin balances into traditional currency for payment or payout through available options. Availability depends on your account, currency, destination, and applicable requirements.

Is my Crypto Wallet secure?

Veem uses security and compliance controls to help protect your account and transactions. You should also protect your Veem login credentials, use multi-factor authentication where available, and carefully verify wallet addresses before sending funds.

What should I do if I sent funds to the wrong address or network?

Blockchain transfers can be difficult or impossible to reverse. If you believe funds were sent incorrectly, contact Veem Support as soon as possible and provide the transaction details. Veem will review the transfer, but recovery cannot be guaranteed.
