As a receiver, do I need a Veem account?
Depending on how the payer sent the payment, for example, if they sent it by adding your email address only, you might need to create an account. You will receive an email notifying you of the payment with Veem, and you'll be prompted to create an account. To complete the process, we will require your banking information, business information, and a secure password. Watch this quick video below!
This one-time account set-up shouldn't take longer than five minutes and any future payments between you and your payee will now be seamless!
Alternatively, if the payer chooses the pay direct option and provides all the necessary information for the payee, it is important to note that setting up a Veem account will not be mandatory for the receiver. Instead, it will be completely optional for them.
You can learn more about our Pay Direct feature here.
