Veem now offers the flexibility to make payments with credit and debit cards for faster transfers.

Who can pay using a credit/debit card?

Starting October 25th, 2022, any client in the countries supported by Veem can now send payments internationally using their credit or debit cards. 

 

Can I use my card to fund all of my payments?

Yes, clients can send payments funded from their card on Veem to recipients who receive USD or their local currency.  

 

Is there a limit to how much I can send when using my card to fund the payment?

There is a $50,000 USD limit per payment. For any payments over $50,000 USD, please reach out to Veem's client services at clientservices@veem.com 

 

How much does it cost to send payments with my card?

  • A 3.5% fee applies to clients located in the US who use a credit card to fund payments. Clients located outside the US are subject to a 3.5% fee. 
  • When using a debit card to fund payments, a 3.5% fee will be charged, but your recipient will not be charged any fees.

 

How do I select to use my card when creating a payment?

Any card that meets the funding criteria will be displayed as a funding method in the payment flow. Select the card as the primary funding method and complete the payment.

Please go to Settings > Send Payment > Defaults to make your card the default debit method. 

 

Which type of card can I use?

We currently support business Visa cards and business and personal MasterCard.

 

Are these payments processed in real-time?

Payments funded by debit or credit cards are not real-time payments.

 

What is the standard processing time for a credit/debit card payment?

The standard processing time for credit and debit card payments is 1-2 business days after verifying the payment. For more details on card payment timelines, click here

 

Can I set up more than one credit/debit card on my Veem account?

At this time, clients can set up multiple cards on their accounts.

 

Can I use my card to pay synced bills from QBO or Xero?

Yes, when the credit card is selected as the primary payment method for sending the payment. 

 

Can I use my card to fund MassPay payments?

Yes, with a limit of $50,000. If the amount is more than $50,000, the MassPay payments will be funded by the bank account on file.
